Winter NAMM 2016: Ormsby Guitars

These guitars are absolutely fantastic. Mr. Perry Ormsby is an outstanding luthier, and his company’s work shows that. The consistency of his GTR model, which is made in Korea, was astounding. I loved every minute, and every note, of playing on this purple 7 string multi-scale guitar.

I must own one in an 8 string format. 🙂

Paul Ozz – Heir Apparent by Opeth (Mini Cover)

This cover is brought to you by: wanting to play Opeth with a beautiful blue PRS that is fairly rare and old. I loved putting this all together, and learning an Opeth song and trying to make it sound good was a great challenge to rise to 🙂

Caparison Dellinger 7 String Black Rose Review

This guitar was a little beat up upon arrival, but after some much needed TLC she played WONDERFULLY. There is a reason why I love Caparisons so damn much!!

Black Water Guitars Custom 6 String Review

I really adore this guitar. Pardon the clipping, it seems the output was just a touch too hot!

There aren’t enough words to describe the master luthier that Aaron Brown of BWGC is becoming. Just wonderful.

DiMarzio: Titan Review (Jake Bowen Signature Pickups!)

What a dream of a guitar and what fantastic pair of pickups. DiMarzio really nailed it this time, with a highly versatile and dynamic tonality from either pickup. The neck Titan felt a little lower in volume on the clean setting but the guitar wasn’t perfectly set up as I was too busy playing it to notice at first.

This video is one of my most beautiful, I think, and so I must thank Mr. Atlantis one more time for providing me with a second angle which definitely was inspiring to work with!
