Disappointment with ESP/LTD
My disappointment stems from ESP not having enough guitars ready and making me wait another 2 months for a guitar that isn’t even made in Japan.
At the same time; my tendonitis has decided to act up in a very vicious manner, leaving me as such with incredible pain in my left hand. This is a setback, but I’m not sure for how long. I don’t think I’ll be finishing my next album on time because of this.
Sure it’s bad news. But it happens. I don’t have a seven string guitar and I can’t even play guitar right now – so I suppose I’ll be focusing on getting a dayjob.
Because really; a dayjob would help a lot with all the gear I need and the gear that needs replacement.
In the mean time, I plan on sipping this glorious Americano and getting buzzed and ready to kick some midi drums out of the ballpark here.
Duncan Hills Coffee Solo
This is the video that kick started my YouTube career. Many thousands of views and a lot of comments; this was posted at a time before Fear the Angels was even done being written! I even sold the old Dean ML Special in the video to a very happy customer who has since loved and abused the instrument to this day. And he still owns it. Proud that I could be the one to transfer such a monstrously awesome guitar to someone who truly wanted it.
You may be wondering..
You may be wondering why all of these posts are so back dated and why this website was launched so much later than the dates. That’s because I want this website to be like treasure for those fans out there that really want to hear the inside scoop: they’ll have a lot to scoop and a lot to read. I always thought additional info or content about or from an artist made them a little more human and a little more cool in my eyes. That’s probably why I worship artists like Devin Townsend and Trent Reznor. They are real and for the fans and for the music above all else.
And of course, every fan values that. I adore most of both of the before-mentioned artists material; and as such would like to emulate them in positive ways musically or otherwise.
I believe that is the best form of flattery and appreciation that I as a fan can show, to try to do my own version of what my favorite musicians did. Because really that’s how music evolves, and that makes me excited for the future.
I hope you will join me on this musical adventure. That is how my career is going to be. Because everyone makes crap albums and amazing albums. No matter who you are.
Spheres of Madness Cover – Paul Ozz
This is a VERY old cover I did of a favorite song of mine. Unfortunately the the unfortunate hair style has gotten a lot of negative comments. But really; if you care about how I look instead of how I play, what are you looking for? Fashion tips? Or death metal? Is there an underground fashion movement in the metal scene of the world? Or do people hate because they put negative stereotypes onto people?
Valid questions. Brutal song. I had no idea it would garner such over-dramatic attention.
