This cover is brought to you by: wanting to play Opeth with a beautiful blue PRS that is fairly rare and old. I loved putting this all together, and learning an Opeth song and trying to make it sound good was a great challenge to rise to 🙂
Pick Review Part 3: Dragon’s Heart Picks / Jim Dunlop Ultex Jazz III
These picks were a lot of fun to test out. I do especially like and have tracked with the hardest of the 3 different Dragon’s Heart picks and I found them to be quite lovely. The Ultex Jazz III is very easy for me to play with but it’s just a little bit too small on the surface area, alas. More reviews and videos coming up soon!
Also, check out that swiggity swooty new set! 😉
Caparison Dellinger 7 String Black Rose Review
This guitar was a little beat up upon arrival, but after some much needed TLC she played WONDERFULLY. There is a reason why I love Caparisons so damn much!!
Black Water Guitars Custom 6 String Review
I really adore this guitar. Pardon the clipping, it seems the output was just a touch too hot!
There aren’t enough words to describe the master luthier that Aaron Brown of BWGC is becoming. Just wonderful.
Guitar Stories
Like I say in the video, I do apologize that this weeks video isn’t up to the expected standard of epicness but I thought it’d be a great idea to get some conversations going about where guitars come from.
We are all so involved in this consumer society, even with guitars, so why not take a second to appreciate what we have and share some stories with people?
All the best to all of you folks who have supported me, here’s to a great and happy holiday season, and to looking forward to 2015!
